Holloway began his career in 1961 with a cameo in “The Avengers.” Between 1967 and… he starred in eight “Carry On” pictures, including notable parts in “Carry On Camping” and “Carry On Up The Khyber.” Beyond the “Carry On” run, he starred in the 1989 final story of the original “Doctor Who,” “Survival.”
Holloway was a frequent voice actor, as well as his on-screen work. He provided the voice for characters like Prime Minister Almec in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” Bradford Milbanks in “James Bond Jr.,” and Captain Zed in “Captain Zed and the Zee Zone.” He also performed Death in the six-season cartoon sitcom “Regular Show.”
